Using the suburb listing and grid below, find the zone number you are sending from and delivering to. Use the intersection of the two zone numbers to calculate the number of zones your item will travel.
Please note: use the vertical axis for the highest sector number.
Please refer to the zone rate applicable to your company.
Example 1
Pick up from: Glengarry (Zone 9)
Deliver to: Camberley (Zone 4)
The intersection of zones 9 and 4 is 6
Example calculation: 6 x zone rate = job price + GST
Example 2
Pick up from: Airport (Zone 2)
Deliver to: CBD (Zone 1)
The intersection of zones 2 and 1 is 2
