Rugby World Cup Opening Night 9 September - Service Disruptions

Friday 9th September will see the opening of the Rugby World Cup in Auckland. To accommodate both the celebrations at waterfront and the game at Eden Park, several street closures are planned.
Great news if you want to join in the celebrations, but a bit tricky for delivering parcels!

Whilst we will endeavour to maintain services wherever we can, we will however be unable to access some areas that day.
We have taken on board additional bike couriers to assist with delivering your items across the areas affected by the rugby world cup, however they too will have limited access across the following times.

The affected areas are as follows:

Area Road Closures and Service Restrictions Suggestions
Auckland Waterfront  Road closures in place from 8pm on Thursday 8th September.
No courier pickup or delivery in these areas Friday 9th.
Plan for deliveries on Thursday 8th wherever possible
Eden Park Road closures from 3pm Friday 9th.
No courier pickup or delivery in this areas from Friday 9th.
Plan for deliveries on Thursday 8th wherever possible
Auckland city. Due to the high volume of traffic anticipated on Friday 9th, there may be service delays across the city.  Plan for deliveries on Thursday 8th wherever possible
